Colour distribution
Temperature linear Colours spread evenly over the temperature range. The default. Histogram equalization Spreads colours by how many pixels share each temperature. Shows detail in flat scenes. Signal linear Colours follow the raw sensor signal instead of temperature. Digital detail enhancement Sharpens small differences on top of equalization.
Temperature span
Automatic Set range
Automatic runs from the coldest pixel to just below the hottest few, so small hot spots do not flatten the picture. Thermal Studio opens the file with this span.
